WMCI Training at Glenmore Lodge.

This qualification has long been an ambition of mine. I was finally able to complete the training course at Glenmore Lodge last week. Conditions were somewhat challenging and the high avalanche risk meant we had to abseil in to our climbing routes to avoid the dangerous approach slopes.

This picture was taken on the Mountaineering day. We climbed the East Ridge of Beinn a' Chaorainn (in the background) and descended via a shallower ridge in the centre of the face.
